We help clients by auditing and counseling on all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring, retention, performance management and termination. In addition, Morrison & Foerster has developed special expertise in addressing the employment and labor issues that arise in mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions. Our work in this area includes identifying key issues during the due diligence phase, negotiating the deal agreements, and assisting the client with all phases of transitioning the affected employees upon closing.
